Do you manufacture your own ribbons?
Yes, we weave and dye all our products in Cape Town. Not all yarns are available in South Africa, but wherever possible, we purchase locally produced raw materials.
Do your manufacturing processes comply with Environmental Regulations?
Yes, we comply with all local environmental standards and try our utmost to re-cycle packaging, raw material, etc., responsibly. We use energy efficient machinery and lighting to save on electricity usage.
What type of ribbon do you stock?
We stock a wide range of Plain, Striped, Stitched and Laddered Petersham ribbons as well as Natural Cotton, Jute and Flax decorative products. We also offer Double Sided Satin ribbon and other woven trims.
What size increments do you sell in?
Our roll sizes are mainly 50 metres and 100 metres.
Do you provide a physical catalogue or samples?
We do not offer a physical catalogue or sampling from our decorative ribbon range. If sampling is required, we kindly request you purchase one roll.
For Plain Petersham Ribbon and Double Sided Satin Ribbon, we can gladly supply a physical Swatch Card illustrating our colour ranges. These Cards are for collection only.
What happens if the ribbon I require is out of stock?
We will notify you by email once your order is received, to advise if any items are out of stock. Kindly allow approximately 6-8 weeks for stock to be replenished.
What happens if an item is discontinued?
We cannot guarantee that an item which is dis-continued will be available in future. We can however re-produce this item – minimums do apply.
At what quantity do I get a better price?
We offer discounted pricing on quantities of approximately 5 000 metres and over per item. Kindly contact us for a quotation.
What is your Return/Exchange policy?
We do not accept returns or exchanges once goods have left our premises.
Only goods incorrectly supplied by us will be exchanged at our earliest convenience. Please notify us of any inaccuracies within 24 hours of receiving your order.
Do you have a showroom?
We do not have a showroom or counter sales, kindly contact our office for any assistance in placing orders.
What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum order quantity or value on Stock Items but we only supply in rolls sizes as listed.
Do you accept orders by phone or fax?
No we do not accept Decorative Ribbon orders by phone or fax. An order form must be completed via our website.
How do I know if my order was received by Weavewell?
You will receive an email from us, confirming that your order has been received. Please allow 48 hours from receipt of our email to your receiving a Tax Invoice for payment via email.
If you do not receive an email, kindly contact us by phone on +27 21 591 1181.
Do you manufacture other ribbons to order?
Yes, we can manufacture a decorative ribbon to order in any width from 10mm to 100mm wide in colours from our Standard Polyester Colour Range – minimums do apply. Kindly contact us for a quotation.
Do you offer any printed ribbons to order?
No, we do not offer any printing but you can purchase ribbon from us to take to a printer.
How do I make payment?
Once your order is processed, we will email you an invoice, you will find our Banking Details in the top left hand corner of our Tax Invoice.
Please email the official bank proof of payment to us: orders@weavewell.co.za.
Goods will only be despatched or ready for collection once funds have cleared in our account.
How will I know if you have added new ribbons to your range?
If you have registered with us, you will be on our mailing list and we will send out an email periodically to notify you of any new ribbons we have added to our range as well as any price increases etc.
I have trouble logging in?
Please ensure you log in using the email address that you initially created the account with. If you are still having problems, please email us on enquiries@weavewell.co.za
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we do ship orders outside of South Africa using DHL Express courier service.
Please note that goods will then be invoiced without VAT. All goods supplied will be subject to taxes and custom fees in the country of delivery and these costs will be for your account.
What should I do if I don’t receive my order despatched by courier?
The courier company’s name and waybill number will be noted on the bottom left hand corner of our Tax Invoice, kindly contact the courier’s closest branch for delivery details.
Do you carry a certain item?
The best way to find an item is to use the search box where you can search by the Product Reference, Type, Colour or Width.
